This week’s Tony nominations gave us lots to celebrate—and WVFC is getting video, so you can celebrate too.

First, here’s Stockard Channing and Judith Light in Other Desert Cities, Jon Robin Baitz’s tale of family intrigue at a Western retirement community. The New York Times’s Ben Brantley advises,  “You probably need to see it five times . . .  because there are five members in the cast of this ripping family drama of politics, domestic and otherwise, and you never want to take your eyes off a single one of them.” Channing was nominated for Best Actress for her role as the family matriarch, with a Best Supporting nomination to Light for a performance, as one of the family’s daughters, that “dared to be less than lovable.” Are you intrigued? We are.

Two brilliant actresses doing justice to wonderful dialogue. What I’d give to see the whole play!
