Hard to believe–and in some ways, not so hard–that it’s been a year since the Tucson, AZ shooting that killed six people and injured several others, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. We’ve kept up somewhat with some of the criminal-justice debate that followed the shooting, and with Rep. Giffords’ grueling recovery, including her return to Congress and her new memoir with husband Mark Kelly. So we couldn’t resist posting here some footage, via Telegraph UK, of yesterday’s candlelight vigil and gathering in Tucson, including a speech by Kelly and the heartening sight of Giffords leading the crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance.
