I never open forwarded links. Well, hardly ever, and only from the short list of people who I know will not waste my time. My trusted friend Linda sent me this yesterday and, after viewing it, not only did my cheeks hurt from laughing, but they were bright red from embarrassment for being found out. Obviously, I am not alone.
California painter Julia Kay thought her three-year Daily Portrait blog was just for her. But since then, it has meant much more, for her life, her art, and for her community (including us.)
As always, my children and husband have enriched my emotional education and taught me some things about Thanksgiving.
