Finally, an ab exercise where you get to lie on your back!
Most people have very tight and short hip flexors (inner hip muscles), so this exercise is a great way to increase your flexibility in that area.
The best core exercises target multiple muscle groups with one move. I chose the Bird Dog because it does that and also works on balance and stability, two very important factors in establishing a strong core.
