Emotional Health

My Wellbeing Project

2:30 p.m.
Acupuncture. I have to go to this sketchy little place in Chinatown but Miranda says it absolutely cured her tennis elbow and healthy is healthy, right? I have this crook in my neck because the flatscreen in the bedroom is up too high. I keep asking Harvey to get it fixed but it’s not high on his to-do list.

3:30 p.m.
Chiropractor. Sean thinks my whole spine is out of alignment and says that I could be one of the hunched over old ladies if I don’t watch out so he sent me to this really good friend of his, Dr. P., who says I’m really improving a lot.

5 p.m.
Hairdresser. I was late for my glossing appointment. Stephan was NOT happy, but I know he loves me. He was telling me about his mindfulness therapy but honestly I don’t think I can fit it in right now.

6:45 p.m.
Home. I thought I would just lie down for a tiny little minute but before I knew it Harvey was shaking me awake. It was 8:30 and we were almost late for our dinner with his brother. Another person mad at me. . . Not good for your health at all, all that toxic energy coming your way, Oprah says.

11:30 p.m.
I’m going to have to wrap this up now. On the way home from dinner H. told me we’re going to Cancun for a few days. Yay! I love piña coladas.
