Coveting This Closet!
It’s spring again, and it’s time to clean out those closets—a feat that always has its highs and lows, as in “that pair of colored jeans you bought last year is still in style” (a high!) but “you’ll have to lose that winter weight before you can zip them up again” (a definite low!). We always schedule a trip to the mall once we’re done, and this year’s fabulous floral fashions are sure to make us smile (a high!) until we see the prices (a low!). Thankfully, we’ve done our homework and uncovered some fashionable finds that won’t break the bank.
Blugirl – High
Mary Katrantzou for Topshop – Low
With so many top designers introducing collections at H&M (Marni), Target (Jason Wu) and Topshop (Maria Katrantzou), it’s easier than ever to mix the highs with the lows to create a fashionable spring wardrobe. The key is to pick pieces that will accent what you already own, and, when it comes to designer pieces (like a beautiful Etro bag or a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood pumps!), those that will stand the test of time.
Nicholas Kirkwood for Erdem – High
Zigi – Low
So whether you pair a floral flourish with this season’s pastels or with last year’s neutrals, you can’t go wrong with Mother Nature in your closet. These pretty pieces will add a touch of spring to your step and make your style blossom – no matter what your budget!

who designed the top photo of the floral top amd skirt, or where can I purchase it. I’d also like to know the source for the fabric!?!? Can you help me!!!
I like that you recommend starting with a review of your past spring/summer wardrobe and adding some new florals. I’ve also seen a trend to mix some florals and prints but that could take some practice.
LOVE all of your gorgeous spring inspirations!! Inspiring me to clean out my closet to make room for some floral fabulousness!!
I especially love those handbags! Thanks for the uplifting post today – I needed it!
