[slideshow_deploy id=’101792′]

Fall is leather weather. Last week, we shared one of our favorite fall leather treats: leather cropped or biker/motorcycle jackets in multiple colors and styles. This week, we turn to another favorite fall trend: leather skirts—pleated, long, or sleek with stretch fabric panels. Here, are five chic styles to suit your preferred length, color and shape.

Acne Studios, Kay Leather Skirt, net-a-porter.com

Low-key but luxurious, Acne Studios’ buttery sand leather ‘Kay’ skirt is perfect for desk-to-dinner dressing. The smooth satin lining and flattering wrap-effect front offer a non-restrictive fit.

3.1 Phillip Lim Skirt, mytheresa.com

Make a statement in this texturally contrasting leather skirt. In a divine, deep red hue, this piece comes with a fabric panel for a unique look. Take your inspiration from the runway show and pair with a textured knit this fall and winter.

Malene Birger Asla Pleated Skirt, mytheresa.com

The cognac color of this number fits right in with the season’s seventies-inspired trend, as does the pleated mid-length styling. A shiny standout, it teams well with fine knits and ankle boots.

.

Victoria Beckham ‘Victoria’ Skirt, net-a-porter.com

Victoria Beckham’s effortlessly cool black skirt is crafted from luxurious mid-weight textured-leather. Designed with a flattering wrap-effect front, this fully lined piece is perfect for work or weekend wear.

.

Gucci Pleated Skirt, net-a-porter.com

Sitting at the waist, this silk-lined style has four accordion-like pleats that create the most flattering shape. Wear yours for day or evening events— it’s too elegant to save for special occasions.

When I was in high school I totally rocked a leather mini-skirt. Haven’t worn one since and probably never will.
