We at Women’s Voices for Change wanted to provide a perspective, indeed several perspectives, on current events for those interested in learning more about the recent horrific events in Paris, Beirut and elsewhere. A great deal of provocative rhetoric and uninformed opinion circulating on the web is more inflammatory than enlightening. We believe our readers want and deserve good critical perspectives about these important issues. Much of the subject matter is beyond the scope of our normal health and lifestyle beat. Nevertheless we have a duty to be informed and to keep our readers informed.
