Victoria Woodard Harvey Victoria Woodard Harvey is a journalist, essayist and short story writer investigating trends in culture and the arts. Subjects include: a study of mental health diversity in light of unprecedented Asperger’s diagnoses, and a history of the resurgence of American artisans in this century’s back-to-the-land movement. Her current work examines how the same generation that claimed the right to peaceful births is reclaiming the right to peaceful deaths. She writes short fiction and was nominated for the 2012 Kirkwood Prize. She is a mother of six and lives on the central coast of California.
