Susan Soriano Susan Soriano is a communications adviser, cause marketing consultant, writer, and teacher who works and plays in New York City and Hastings-on-Hudson, a village in the Lower Hudson Valley. Susan's multi-disciplinary bent has informed her life from the years as a grad student in comparative literature to a never-a-dull-moment career in book, magazine, and digital publishing, which included stints at New York, Time, Condé Nast Traveler, National Geographic Traveler, and Parenting Magazine. She serves as an adviser to the Poetry Society of America, whose signature program, Poetry in Motion, places poetry in the transit systems of cities throughout the country.
