Celina Spiegel
is the co-founder and co-publisher of Spiegel & Grau, an imprint of Random House devoted to publishing original voices and thinkers who expand our understanding and imaginations, and move forward the cultural conversation. She is also an editor, who has edited books by writers including James McBride, Khaled Hosseini, Yann Martel, Ari Shavit, and Sara Gruen. Previously she was a founding editor and later publisher of Riverhead Books. The co-editor of the anthology "Out of the Garden: Women Writers on the Bible," she is also a board member of Archangel Ancient Tree Archive, a nonprofit devoted to propagating and planting trees throughout the world.
