Anne Phillips Anne Phillips, singer composer, arranger, and choral conductor, began her career as a member of the Ray Charles Singers. She’s sung demos for writers like Burt Bacharach, Carole King, and Neil Diamond; released several CD, including her latest, “Ballet Time” and has just published a children’s musical, “The Great Grey Ghost of Old Spook Lane.” Her Christmas show, “A Jazz Nativity,” which has starred such jazz greats as Lionel Hampton, Clark Terry and Tito Puente, has been featured at Chrismastime for more than 20 years at such venues as Philharmonic Hall, Birdland, and B B King’s.
