Betty White has finally come out of the closet.

As an animal lover, that is.

The indomitable White has offered us numerous shockers in the past year, between her hit new series Hot in Cleveland and her racy turn on Saturday Night Live.  But long before any of that, it turns out, and way back to her Sue Ann Nivens days, White has carried out a double life. This week The New York Times gave us a glimpse of the other Betty: her passionate affair with the Los Angeles Zoo. Watch below in this video from the zoo as she walks fearless into cages and looks deep into the moist eyes of multiple mammals. It might get you back to the zoo, too.
