I’m listening to Bigelow’s speech now. Thanking the people in Jordan and those in uniform felt real.
On Twitter, though: “And the first woman director should have been MEEEEEE — f**k you Academy!!!!! Love, Babs.”
And while I was reporting that, The Hurt Locker won Best Picture. Everyone’s trying not to scream.

Quite the night! We didn’t even get time to blog about Sandra Bullock winning best actress–a sentimental favorite in the Academy, for sure.
