History & Outreach
Women’s Voices for Change, a nonprofit organization, was founded in New York City in 2005 with the goal of sharing advocacy, information and education with American women of menopausal age and empowering women with the tools to enjoy, explore, create and grow.
WVFC maintains a collaborative partnership on health issues with The North American Menopause Society, the leading organization for professionals who care for women in menopause.
As part of our outreach efforts, WVFC provides bone mineral density screenings for underserved and underinsured women. Please read about our campaign, Project Esperanza, to learn more.
