As we are now in the throes of summer, we’ve asked several accomplished women of style whom we admire to come up with 10 suggestions for a sweet season. This week we invited Jamie Rosen to share with us her favorites. Jamie Rosen is the beauty director at Town & Country, where she covers beauty, health, and wellness. She has worked as an editor at W, and has written for Women’s Wear Daily, Condé Nast Traveler, and Qulture, a new Qatar-based website.—Ed.
Favorite Summer Destination: Wherever my friends will have me. I also love going to the Berkshires.

Current Summer Reading: The People in the Trees, by Hanya Yanagihara, who is a gifted travel writer and friend. This is her first novel.
What to Wear to a Summer Party: A white linen dress or a wild print dress from Calypso St. Barth.

Favorite Summer Fragrance: Neroli Portofino, by Tom Ford.
Necessary Summer Indulgence: Ice cream at every possible moment. I just started making my own, which is becoming quite dangerous.
Preferred Seasonal Spa Fix: For a very quick one, I keep a lot of mists at my desk. I especially love the Sjal Energy Tonic. If there’s a little more time, I love the Moroccan Rain Body Polish at the spa at Trump SoHo. Most body treatments require you to move around a lot, which can be disruptive, but this one has an amazing horizontal shower so you don’t have to.
Favorite House Gift for a Summer-Weekend Invitation: A big bag of SPF in a canvas tote or pints of Graeter’s ice cream!
Favorite Summer Entertaining Tip: The less proper cooking, the better. Lately, I’ve been making a nectarine, mozzarella, basil, and balsamic salad. All you need is fresh produce and a knife.

Current Film on Your List to See This Summer: Blue Jasmine. If Cate Blanchett doesn’t get nominated for an Oscar, I’ll be completely shocked.
