About
Women’s Voices for Change is a news, commentary and opinion website that celebrates women’s health, beauty, wisdom and vibrancy. We’re here to remind the world how vital, versatile and powerful women over 40 are. We advocate for increased visibility in the media, and we advocate passionately for The New Menopause, a powerful transition that begins at age 40.
As a non-profit 501c3 organization, WVFC does not endorse candidates, but we DO take bold positions on issues that affect women. Join us. Make a tax-deductible donation today to keep us going. Most importantly, raise your voice with us!
What We Cover
Featuring writing by an array of thoughtful and influential thinkers and doers, Women’s Voices for Change is where women in and beyond the menopausal transition are recognized for what they are: important.
We cover current events, health, sexuality and popular culture. We ruminate on everything from dynamic living to dynamite role models. We critically evaluate news and entertainment coverage of our demographic.
We’ve got the former president of Vassar talking about the new president of Harvard. We take on the bashers (Christopher Hitchens says women aren’t funny? Please). And we set the record straight (Suzanne Somers might be a nice person, but she isn’t qualified to talk about hormones).
By promoting an exchange of opinion and information, we’re starting a conversation. We invite you to comment on what you read here and to submit an entry of your own. (See submissions.)
It isn’t about older. It’s about better. And it’s about time we started making some noise.
